Chapter 4 Family Apart

My worst part of life came in unexpectedly. I was relaxing and everything went to the wrong side of the story. It took me a while to believe that my mom had gone and left me in an unfriendly world. My father was now just a zombie and was able to go against Clara no matter what she was saying. Since l was the first born and the only son, l had to hide the pain inside and comfort my sister as she was feeling like she had to die. Trying to figure it out on our own, the devil visited our house. Infact, the devil came to stay with us in the same house. I never took nonsense in my entire life but this one confused me a lot that l didn't give a word about that. Clara and her daughter Beyonce came in to stay with us. Luckily they were only two of them. We didn't exchange greetings, only starring at each. Kim wanted to say something but l closed her mouth. I didn't want to start war this early. Someone rang the doorbell, opened the and saw our beloved ones, James and Keyla.

Keyla:-Hi Kay, how are doing

Kay:-I am better and you.

Keyla:-l am now good.

Kay:-What do you mean by that? James wassup.

James:-Cool how's she doing.

Keyla:-Is not that your father?

Kim:-Yes he is, he is now more than a zombie and our most nightmare has just happened.

Keyla:-What is it again

Kim:-The woman we are suspecting that she killed our mom is already here.

James:-Who is she?

Kay:-She is upstairs. We don't know what to do.

Keyla:- Is it that serious

Kim:-More than serious, Kay tell them the whole story.

James:-Is there something we don't know?

Kay:-Actually yes. Do you still remember the day that died my mom.

James:-Yes l remember because l was here and saw everything that happened.

Kay:-Good. In my search l heard something that troubled my heart. I saw my father quarreling with his work mate Mr Ola. And the story went like this.

Kay's narration

Mr Ola:-Why are you doing this to your family Aaric

Mr Cee:-My guy leave my life am l bothering you in any way

Mr Ola:-Yes you are and you must stop cheating your wife Aaric.

Mr Cee:-I no longer love her so if you want her go ahead and take her away and l will never ask you and search for you.

Mr Ola:-Don't speak like you are holding a gun Aaric. Yesterday your son was here and he was really not good at all because he was looking for you.

Mr Cee:-Does he care about me? He wanted to ask me about her mom that's all.

Mr Ola:-Aaric your son was trembling with fear and you are here spitting that rubbish from your mouth.

Mr Cee:-I know him he is my son and not yours. By the way you reminded me something, think he is not my son even that girl is not even mine.

Mr Ola:-So what comes to your mind? DNA haa. How can you totally forget your family because of that p********e.

Mr Cee:-He held Mr Ola's collar. Don't dare call my wife that again or l will _____.

Mr Ola:-Will what Aaric? Can't you see you are being fooled here. This is your life but bet you will regret this. The Clara entered the room. All this happened while l was peeing through the window

Clara:-He will regret what Mr Ola? Can't you see that you are chewing more than you can swallow.

Mr Ola:-Clara, nothing can hidden under the sun. Remember the day this will be reviewed will actually come and there will be no place to hide.

Clara:-Go to hell Ola with fake prophecies. Baby let's go. Mr Cee and Clara left hugging each other like teenagers who just fall in love recently.

Kay:-That's how l know that my mother knew the truth before she died because that was the issue l was looking my father for.

James:-So sad, and you said that the the woman is already here

Kim:-Yes the camp is already under attack.

James:-So what did the doctor say when l left that day.

Kay:-He said it was heart attack but the way things are going this was spiritual and the main suspect is that Jezebel.

James:-She has a name already

Kim:-Why not. She deserves that one.My father is now my worst enermy.

Keyla:-You can't say that darling.

Kay:-Yes she is right. He caused my mother's death. He did not end there, he also brought her into our house and it's obvious that they will be sleeping in our mom's bedroom and it's just a week after we have buried her.

James:-Yeah l support you hundred percent but whatever you do just remember that he is your father.

Clara:-What are you doing in my house Kay and your friends.

Beyonce:-Leave my mother's house now. We are not the ones who killed your mom. Actually mom l think these people are witches

Kim:-Mind your speech you daughter of a p********e.

Clara:-What?

James:-Kim leave them

Kay:-Let's go out guys, but at least she heard the truth.

Beyonce:-Your was the prostitute

Kay:-Mind your speech before l correct it for you. Now l was loaded and he was breathing heavily.

Clara:-Now get out or l will tell your father

Kay:-What will he do? I lost everything because of you two but don't worry l am coming for you. We walked out James and Keyla and started thinking on what to do next.

Next day l went to school alone because Kim was sick. When l came l saw another temptation that l couldn't bear.

Kay:-l am back sis how are you

Kim:-Not fine. The food you cooked for was thrown away by that witch.

Kay:-So you mean you have eaten by now.

Kim:-Yeah

Kay:-Let me prepare something for us or let me order online because l don't trust that woman. l ordered food online and while waiting for it l went to confront Clara.

Kay:-Why did you throw my sister's food away?

Clara:-To show you that you are not welcomed here.

Kay:-l slapped her in the face and she screamed heavily. You killed my mother and now you want my sister. What have we done to deserve this.

Beyonce:-Came in running and gave a slap. Don't dare touch my mom again.'I hold her hair and started pulling her roughly. Her mother tried to join and she joined her daughter on the ground. I took a mop and started beating them releasing every anger on them, then l heard doorbell ringing and l went to check on it.

Delivery Guy:-Here's what you ordered sir

Kay:-Thanks man. Here's your tip for being fast because l was dying of hunger

Delivery Guy:-Thank you sir

Kay:-Don't call me sir, can't you see that we are of the same age.

Delivery Guy:-Yeah. true but l am at work

Kay:- That's not a problem to me, l will rate your work.

Delivery Guy:-Thanks man. I really appreciate you. Bye

Kay:-Bye. l went straight to my sister's bedroom and we enjoyed our meal together.

Kim:-I heard noise, what was happening

Kay:-I was teaching them manners

Kim:-Did you beat them?

Kay:-Yes

Kim:-Ladies and Gentlemen welcome our Heavy Weight Champion Big Dog who won against two people.

Kay:-I am here.

Mr Cee:-Kay, Kay, Kay

Kay:-Hello, l am coming. To Kim: Let me go and tie up the dog that is barking downstairs 'We both laughed and l left.

Mr Cee:-Why did you beat my wife

Kay:-Because she is not my mother. 'He tried to slap me and that's the time l was waiting for. l started beating him up like a baby. His so-called wife and daughter were just standing afraid to interfere because of what l did earlier.
