The very atmosphere was charged with peace and serenity with a hint of the unseen. A sliver of excitement passed through me as I took in my surroundings. The ground was a tight network of cobblestones beneath my feet as I walked towards the brown colored bungalow. There were other similar bungalows of the same colour scattered around on large acres of land, totaling about ten. The one I was heading for sat, smack in the front and was flanked by two other buildings in the same colour. As I got close, I saw the bold inscription in Latin displayed at the front of the building; In Deo confidimus, per Mariam matrem. I didn’t know what that meant but I was definitely going to find out.
