Nineteen: Reconnecting to my blood senses could be a pain. Every time I moved drastically in geography, my body had to adjust. I could sense many blood connections, and trails all around me. The limit of the range seemed close to sixty or seventy miles. Every time I moved more than double that distance, I would have to remap my senses. One might think this was a limited range. However, mind you that travel in the old days was slower by far. Also, I was not keen to move more than sixty miles in any direction without a good reason. People tended to stay in a more localized region most of their lives unless forced to travel. Beyond these, who else aside from my children possessed such a unique capability?
