The Trial part 1

Chapter eleven

The sun was up shinning bright ,heating everywhere up it was the trial day ,because of the casualties of the attack on the crescent moon pack the trial was given a three days extra which happened to be today .Within those three days Amber have been trying to summon her powers without rage but she failed every time she tried.The news of her being a red hair witch has spread like wild fire ,werewolves from other pack wants to see with their eyes how strong the Luna is according to the rumor they of she fending off the rogues ,someone especially wants to see the extent of her power before he would embark on his plan to get her blood .Chris was extremely worried about the Luna how she will handle herself not being able to summon her powers and most of all her current condition that they have decided to keep it a secret for the mean time .

It was the early evening when the sun is about to be down ,the omegas have set the scenery of the event rounding the training field with chairs and a raised table for the alphas ,a weapon stand at the two ends of the field with soany types of dangerous weapons,when it was time to get started the werewolves were coming in one after the other occupying the seats .

In the King's chamber, someone in the room seems to be restless,pacing around ,moving to and fro ,he stood still his hand akimbo staring at Amber standing in front of a big mirror putting on her gears ,Chris couldn't control his distress he has been worried sick maybe because of Amber's condition . " you know you can still sit this out I don't mind not being the alpha king as long as I keep you both safe" he said with a pleading look almost about to cry .Amber now adjusting her arm gear paused " That's the point I can't be the cause of your downfall maybe one day you will understand" she thought to herself smiling,she took a glance at him and continued what she was doing ,this made Chris more worried than ever he continued pacing around looking more worried by the seconds . A werewolf pregnancy is expected to last for five months,so Amber was in her second month she had a little bump not really obvious but it is there ,she was about to put on a belly amour to cover the bump, Chris couldn't take this anymore " don't you even dare !" He said in a mean voice snatching it away from Amber .Amber understands how his feeling she went closer to him cupped his face in her tiny arm and kissed his lips so passionately softening his heart " I need to protect the baby from being hit ,I will be safe I promise". she whispered to his ears in a soft voice ,not only did her voice calmed his nerves it also made his monster poke out it's head ,Amber looked down at the monster trying to find its way out of the pants she smiled "not now " she said patting Chris on the chest . "why is she teasing me in a situation like this " he thought himself smiling sheepishly ,he ended up putting on the belly amour on her it felt so loose that it was almost falling off .Amber was ready to go ,looking at Chris she could still see the worried look in his eyes,she hugged him gently Chris felt the warmth of the hug ,he hugged back. " I will be fine I promise" she said softly Chris smiled and kissed her forehead they left the room heading towards the fighting arena.
