The Discovery

Chapter Eight

Its been three months since the training field incident ,since then Chris have been training Amber himself so as not lose it again ,Raphael also have known his boundaries on the Luna .

It was the night before the Luna's trial ,so it was a restless night for Amber her head was flooded with the thoughts of possible failure , she couldn't sleep cold sweats running down her head ,she was scared to death not wanting to the downfall of Chris she has grown to love him their bond became stronger since he marked her ,Amber's restless turning on the bed woke Chris who was half at sleep ,he gave her a back hug cuddling her so tight this act calmed her restless body she manage to close her eyes ,not long after a shadow hovered above her with a sword ,she instantly open her eye rolled over to Chris side pushing Chris to the floor and the sword stabbed the pillow ,Chris became alert of the situation in lightening speed he slashed the rogue( A Wolf that doesn't belong to a park for some reasons) werewolf's throat causing blood to splash everywhere including Amber's face he was still wondering how a rogue werewolf was able to get pass the soldiers, he thoughts were cut short when Raphael ran in breaking the news ic being under attack to him ,Chris grabbed his sword facing Raphael " Protect the Luna With your life " he shouted in an alpha voice Raphael nodded " take her away through the east wing " he added Raphael got to it immediately grabbed the Luna's hand and ran off through the hallways in the east end direction Chris ran through the west wing the soldiers there weren't faring good he but at least the other wings are still secured ,when the soldiers saw the alpha they became more energetic fighting with their lives on the line Chris joining the fight turned the side they soldiers were faring very well not long after a news came that the east wing have been breached and that was the direction Raphael took the Luna ,Chris became confused not knowing whether to go after his Luna or fight with the soldiers to secure this wing in the mist of the thoughts he got distracted a sword went through the side of his stomach, he groaned in pains slashing the rogue's head off clean ,he was bleeding profusely but he had to remain the strong alpha so as not to discourage his men he continued fighting like nothing happened enduring the pain .

Running through the hall way was Amber and Raphael towards the east wing before the could reach the gate they saw a crowd of rogue running toward them ,running back where the came from but soon the rogue caught up with them Raphael pushed Amber to a side wall he drew his sword and stated fighting no minding that he was outnumbered all the soldiers at the east wing have been slaughtered only Raphael was standing being stabbed many times all over his body he was still fighting to protect the Luna , Amber couldn't take it anymore seeing more rogues coming from the other side of the hallway and seeing the young man sacrificing his life for her , then a sudden rage started building up in her just like when her mum was killed she could feel the same rage but this she didn't fight it ,it spread through her body in an instant Her hair change from dark to a very bight red like a hot furnace her amber eyes lit up so bight her two hands covered in flames of burning fire Raphael could feel the surge of power and heat emitting from her body it was too hot that he had to cover his body with his shield to protect his body from burning . Amber stretch one of her flaming arm immediately an invisible force gathered all the rogues from the east wing tied them with an invisible rope ,one flick of her hand the caught on fire their groaning screams could be heard across the hallway ,when more rogue were coming through that hallway they saw Amber in that state ,they retreated running and screaming " it is the red hair witch" when the rogues outside heard this they ran for there lives .Chris who was in his wolf form weak and injured bleeding from most of his vitals, he has been using his wolf strength to fight now the wolf is seriouly injured wolf retracted his human body fell to the floor extremely weak struggling to get up when he saw Amber in that state he was surprised and scared at the same time it is obviously clear that she has no control of such power . Amber created an invisible barrier that looks like a dome circling everybody in it including Chris and his wounded soldiers and some of the rouge who couldn't escape before the barrier was created ,one swipe of her hand half of the rogues started screaming loudly as they burn to a crips she continued burning as many as she could the fire was spreading rapidly Chris knew that him and his soldiers are the next target this reminded him of the sight from the village where he saw Amber the scene was similar ,he managed to get up dragging himself staggering as we made his way towards Amber ,reaching closer to Amber there was a fire barrier protecting her ,Chris pushing through the fire screaming in pain as the fire blazed his skin burning through his whole body ,the pain didn't stop him from moving forward he has to protect his pack even if it involves dying in the process,he struggled his way past the fire barrier he grabbed Amber from the back holding her so tight her body was releasing heat of fire but just the fire barrier he endured it holding her in place until the fire on her body died down and the both collapsed to the floor.
