Chapter 27 Dane wasn’t responding any longer. Sean knew that was a bad sign, but he couldn’t do anything about it from where he was, nor was he sure how many of his own senses to trust any more—the ground was roiling underneath him, and he knew that couldn’t be right. The magic was f*****g with his mind, and it was very noticeable now. That must have been why Dane was acting so screwy. While Sean was glad he was no longer singing or saying outrageous things, his silence was worrisome. Sean swallowed, hoping he wasn’t dead.
