Chapter 13 Mike paced. He was back to the sensation that his gut was tied in knots and the idea that deep s**t was going to occur. “You’re gonna wear a hole in the floor,” Kurt said. He lay on the mattress, arms crossed. “Yeah, probably.” “You don’t usually get this wound up on an op.” “Mmm.” Mike stared out the narrow window beside the door.
