When The Night Takes Over

1443 Words
I finally told Katie how I felt about her, and I was thrilled to find out she felt the same way. I'm incredibly happy, nothing can bring me down! It was a new experience for me, and I felt honored to share such an intimate moment with her. I really hope I helped make it special for her, too. Even though she was shy, she was absolutely gorgeous. After we were done, she went to get cleaned up. I haven't even had dinner yet, but she cooked, so I'm going to taste her cooking again for the second time. After she got dressed, she emerged with a still-flushed face, blushing over earlier events. "Don't be shy, Katie," he said. "Couples do this often—and this definitely won't be our only time. Now, let me taste that delicious meal you prepared." We both walked over to the kitchen. She was standing at the cooktop, and when I came behind her and kissed her neck, she melted under my touch. "Can I help you with anything?" "No, just sit at the table and I will bring you your dinner." "Once again, you outdid yourself! Another amazing meal! Thank you so much for being a caring person, making me dinner, and loving me." "You're welcome, and I love you too." John pushed his chair back and pulled me onto his lap, where he started kissing me. "If we don't stop now, we may end up doing something I am not ready for," I told him. We pulled away. I got up and went to take care of the dishes. Just then, a knock came at the door. We both looked at each other in surprise. "Who could that be at this hour of the night?" John asked. "I don;t know." John checked the peephole before swinging the door open. "It's Susan—I forgot she was coming," he called out. He let her in, and after a quick greeting, he asked, "Are you ready for tonight?" "As ready as I'll ever be," Susan replied. "I am looking forward to meeting your friend." "Hey! Glad you made it in one piece! Now, let's see what you brought for this evening?" "Ladies, I'm going home to get changed, and then Alec and I will be back to pick you up." "Sounds like a plan. I walked John to the door. He pulled me into a passionate kiss. When he pulled away he said, "I love you and can't wait to do that again." I looked down shyly, until his fingers hooked under my chin, forcing my gaze to meet his. "You tasted delicious, and I cannot get enough of you," he whispered, his deep blue eyes. "This weekend, I'm going to have fun exploring your body." He winked, brushed a kiss against my nose, and left me stunned. Closing the door, leaned against it, touched my lips and smiled. This guy would be the death of me, I thought to myself. "Come see the outfits I bought." Susan called out to me. "Help me choose one." After helping Susan pick her attire for the evening, I went to get dressed. When I came out of my room, Susan could not believe the transformation. Susan wore a black body-contouring dress that fell down to her mid-thigh with matching black heels. "John will not be able to keep his hands off you," she said. "That's the idea." I replied. We both laughed. "Susan asked, "Have you met Alec?" "No, I have not." "I hope he's hot," she said. "It would be great if the two of you hit it off; then we could go on double dates. My best friend and his best friend!" "That would be nice." Ten minutes later, my door buzzer rang. I knew it would be the boys. I did a quick check in the mirror, liked what I saw, looked at Susan, and told her, "You look fabulous. Alec would be a fool not to want to be with you." Then came the knock at my door. When I opened it for the boys, John's eyes almost popped out of his head—they were wide and dilated. He picked me up, spun me around, and kissed me. "You look smoking hot, John whispered to me. John was wearing a button-down, khaki long-sleeved shirt with rolled-up sleeves, khaki pants and tennis shoes. He looked yummy. Alec wore black jeans, with a white tee and black sneakers. Then a cough came behind us, and Alec was just standing there awkwardly. "Sorry, dude. Katie, this is Alec." We shook hands, "It is so nice to finally meet you," "Likewise," Alec reponded. They both came in, and I closed the door behind them. Susan was waiting in the living room. "Susan, this is Alec, I said." They stared at each other for a minute, then shook hands. I was thinking this might be a good match after all. I looked at John; he winked and kissed my cheek. "Are you ladies ready to go? John asked. As I locked the door behind us, we headed downstairs, where Alec managed to hail a cab big enough for all four of us. Twenty-five minutes later, we were at the pub. Upon entering, we noticed people dancing, drinking, and having a great time; it was a hip and lively place. The moment I walked in and heard the music, I started dancing, still in John's arms. We walked to an empty table, and Alec asked Susan, "What would you like to drink?" "A skinny gril mojito." she said John looked at me and said, "Would you like to try a fancy drink tonight? I looked at Susan, and she nodded. I said "Ok." "We will be right back," the boys said. They both left and went to the bar to place our drink order. On the way back, John carried a beer and a fancy drink for me, while Alec brought another beer and Susan's drink. I whispered to John, "What was this?" And pointed to the fancy drink he had just brought for me. "A Piña colada, ladies that don't drink like this." I took a sip. "How do you like it? "It's pretty good." John stood, offering his hand with a confidence that made my pulse jump. As he led me to the dance floor, the heat between us was immediate. I backed into him, swaying my hips in time with the music, sinking into his strength. He didn't let that last, turning me around until we were face-to-face. Before I could catch my breath, his lips were on mine, one hand firm on my waist, the other locking behind my head, keeping me entirely under his spell. It was intoxicating—a wild blend of tender and desperate. He murmured my name against my mouth, a low sound that vibrated through my chest, dissolving any remaining resolve. The crowd around us faded into a blur of color and sound, leaving only the scent of his cologne and the maddening, steady thumping of his heart against my own. I gasped when he broke the kiss, my knee shaking. He didn't let me fall, pulling me closer until I was flush against him, his eyes dark and searching, demanding I meet his gaze. His thumb traced my jawline, a gentle contrast to the possessive grip he still had on my waist, as if he couldn't decide whether to worship me or devour me right there on the floor. Murmuring, "Let's get out of here." He pressed a fleeting kiss to my temple, his voice rough against my ear, urging me toward the exit before I could even process the sudden shift in the atmosphere. My breath hitched, not from fear, but from the raw intensity in his touch. We moved with a practiced, hurried urgency, slipping through the crowd, his hand firmly, possessively, on the small of my back, ignoring the calls from our friends at the table. He didn't slow down until we were outside, the cool night air hitting my flushed skin. The moment we got outside, he spun me around until my back hit the brick wall, his shadow swallowing mine. The adrenaline from the escape was still humming in my veins, but it was the look in his eyes—dark, focused, and entirely unapologetic—that finally made my breath hitch. He crashed his lips onto mine with hunger and need, demanding a response, his tongue sweeping into my mouth to stake his claim, leaving me breathless and trembling against him. He pulls and whispers into my ears. "We need to get a cab."
