Pay Debt

Chapter 1 - Return and Meet

Life was really hard, sometimes if you want your family to have a comfortable life you need to be far from them, just like me, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Zem Starlight 28 years old and I work abroad for my family and now I'm in the airport, I just return from America

"Phi Zem" yelled by someone while running towards me, I immediately run towards that person and hug her tight "Baby girl, Nong Yurin" I said hugging her tightly "Where's mom by the way" I asked "They're home" Yurin answer happily

Yurin and I wait for a taxi and went back home, as I enter the house i was confused because there's no any light and that's so unusual so I open the light and at the same time people shout "Surprise" a word that really surprised me "Welcome back son" my mom said "Mom" I said running towards her for a hug, mom hug me so tight as she kiss my cheeks " I really miss you, you know what it's so lonely without you" Mom said "I miss you to Mom you too" I response "Okay let's eat" Yurin said ruining the mood.

Someone's POV:

An hour later

It's already evening the starlight family was still having fun inside the house until someone rung the bell

"I'll check it" Zoo said

"Hmm" their Mom nods

Zoo check if who's the one behind the gate and when he finally saw it he froze for a minute then run inside their house

"Mom someone's looking for you" Zoo said trying to be calm

Zoo's Mom didn't respond she just go outside

"Mr. Dream" Mrs. Karen said "Good evening" she added

"Mrs. Karen, I heard that your son just return from abroad" Dream said in mocking tone

"Hmm yes, news flew so fast" Mrs. Karen said trying to make a joke

"haha" Dream laugh sarcastically "But I'm not here for that, I need the money now" Dream yelled

Because of the misunderstanding they started yelling and it bothered Zem so he ask Yurin if she could check it but then he start hearing Yurin yelling and decide to check it himself, and when he went out he saw a really tall young man in a black leather

"Excuse me, who are you?" Zem ask

"Who am I?, I'm Dream Villain and your family has a 1 million debt on me" he yelled

"D-debt?, Impossible " Zem stutter "I work abroad to pay a debt not to have a debt" he added

"Then ask your dad" Dream said rubbing his chin "Mr. Dream give us sometime, we'll pay I promise " Mrs. Karen said

"Should I or maybe we can make a deal?" Dream said still rubbing his chin

"What do you mean Mr. Dream?" Mrs. Karen ask

"Why don't we talked about it inside" As he walked inside the house

When they enter the house they sit on the sofa and talk

"Here's the deal all the debt will be erase if" confidently said

"What no" said by Zoo, Yurin, and Zem

"What 'No'?, you like it or not you need to do it because the interest was 10 percent, every month it get higher and higher" a smirk in his face appear

"But Mr. Dream isn't too much?" Mrs. Karen said

"Too much?, I already gave you a long deadline did I said it's too much?" he angrily said

"Okay, Deal" Zem said as he lend his hand

"But Phi" Yurin disagree

Dream shake his hand "Well then ready your things, I'll give you 2 weeks to pack" he said as he put his hand to his pocket and leave.

After the conversation Zem immediately went upstairs to rest not caring about anyone's presence

"Do you think Zem is angry?" Karen ask

"I think so" Yurin and Zoo said

"We shouldn't have lied to him, he sacrifice a lot to us" Zoo said

"We should have let him know" Yurin agreed

"He must be really angry now right since he hate liars and we lied to him which is his family" Karen said in guilt

"Let's rest also to have some energy to explain for tomorrow" Zoo said

"Hmm, he'll bee leaving next week anyway" Yurin pouted

"Goodnight my dear" Mrs. Karen said in front of Zem's door

Zem's mind

"Did I really made a right decision?, urghh whatever for the sake of my family"

"Here's the deal all the debt will be erase if your son will marry me" this word of Dream keep recalling in Zem's mind and he can't get rid of it

"How am I supposed to sleep right now" he said grabbing his own hair

He roll around his bed and stomp his feet until he fell asleep
