After dismissing the elders, Ryder made his way back to the castle, his mind still heavy with the events that had transpired. As he walked, he couldn't help but observe the pack around him, glad to see that things were beginning to return to normal after the tumultuous events of the day.
The sun was setting by the time Ryder reached his room in the castle. Opening the door, he was greeted by the sight of Liza, who was waiting for him with a relieved smile.
"Ryder, you're back," she said, her voice filled with relief as she rushed to embrace him.
Ryder returned the embrace, holding her close for a moment before pulling back slightly to look into her eyes. "Yes, I'm back," he said softly, his gaze searching hers.
