Ryder’s POV It’s been three days of not knowing where Liza is and being unable to reach Celeste. My mind was going crazy with the amount of need to be around my mate, to at least tell that she was okay or precisely in good condition. I had been so close to finding her and I knew that the mating home could never be wrong. I had been out for a run that night and my wolf kept sniffing the surrounding area I didn’t need to be told twice as we followed the scent of our mate cutting through the thick barks and over brown bushes our paws sloshing across the muddy grounds in a hurry to scent out where our mate really was. The night had proven unfruitful because we found an empty shed with her scent all over the room, her clothes that I had last seen on her porcelain skin and been disposed of
