The silence after Tyler's surrender only lasted for an instant before Lycan Ryder burst out laughing. He laughed for a long time while Tyler, who was still pinned under him, watched in confusion.
Even beta Marcus was a bit confused, but he didn't show it. At last, when Lycan Ryder had stopped laughing, he looked down at the man below him and smiled savagely.
"I told you, you would lose, didn't I?" he asked the man, the smile still on his face.
To his surprise, Tyler burst out laughing too. It was a mocking laughter. Tyler laughed for a long time as well. He laughed till Lycan Ryder felt like just killing him and getting it over and done with.
