Third person POV The tense moment stretched on for eternity. It seemed the whole of the elders were holding their breaths, waiting for the first person to break the silence. Ryder got impatient. "Silence won't save you!" he said forcefully. "Speak up now, or face my wrath then. The choice is yours," Yet, the silence continued. Ryder let his gaze pass over the elders one after the other, as though he could sniff out the traitors by looking at their faces. However, none of them refused to meet his face. Ryder was at a loss as to what to do. The truth was that there wasn't actually anything he could do if the traitors didn't give up on themselves. The best he could do was to wait for the blood oath. But he would lose face if the elders' silence continued and he didn't do anything.
