His golden eyes were fixed on Lucas, ready to ounce in his and test him apart. Suddenly, he felt a strong push and his claws coiled back inside. His head reeled as he felt his nines resetting and reshaping again.
Everyone present, including Lucas who had tried to mask his fears was still staring at Ryder with horror and terror even after his breathing had become normal and his eyes had changed from golden to the normal colour.
