A pleasurable sensation ran from my head, down the back of my neck. I moaned in approval, feeling fingers raking through my hair, massaging my scalp. It felt good. Half out of it, I smacked my lips together, eyes fluttering open. Relaxed. Warm. Soft. When my eyes landed on King Rosario, leaning over me, close to me, all of that sense of calm dissipated. “Wait!” I snapped, pushing him backwards, crawling back across the bed. He caught my ankle just before I could fall off the bed, pulling me back across the soft mattress. “Your hair is wet,” he said, appraising me.
