An entire week had passed and the vivid hallucination showed no signs of ending. Every morning I awoke in a lavish bedroom without an alarm clock. If I awoke early, I would eat alongside Kai who could eat more in one setting than I could in a week and Poala who typically just had tea and a crumpet for breakfast. If I slept in, it would be foiled in the fridge, ready to be reheated. After breakfast, Poala would take to preparing dinner or working at her garden, both tasks which she was adamant that I leave well enough alone.
