The Jade Moon Prophecy

First Mate: New Information- Part One

Athena, Apollo, and Aphrodite made there way to a man who looked to be no older than nineteen. They stopped directly in front of him as their milky way eyes shined and locked with his pure ocean blue eyes. “Mates” he whispered and then yelled. “I have three mates and they are the Jade wolves?” he looks around at the other warriors, and then towards the King who simply just shrugs.

“Forgive me, your Majesties. I was just over the moon that the Goddess chose me to be mated to the ones destined to end the darkness.” the unknown man spoke. “My name is Jakstin. I am one of the elite Lycan trainers here for King William.” he continued. “It appears I may have been summoned here to help you three gorgeous ladies…in more than one way”, Jakstin chuckled to himself.

Athena reached out her hand. He looked at her confused, but extended his hand and shook hers. In the werewolf and Lycan communities, mates tend to mate and mark eachother within minutes, unless one mate chooses to reject the other. This was not common practice, so Jakstin’s confusion ran deep.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Athena.” she said to Jakstin with a smile and rosy red cheeks. Following Athena, Aphrodite did the same and extended her hand to Jakstin.

Again, he looked confused, but he extended his hand and shook hers. “My name is Aphrodite, but you may call me Ro. It's an honor to meet you.” she said, looking into his eyes and blushing deeply. Finally, Apollo outstretched her hand, and introduced herself gently to Jakstin.

“It’s a delight to meet you, Jakstin. I am Apollo.” she smiles and retracts her hand, her cheeks flushing bright red just like her sisters.

King William stands up and walks over to the girls and their mate, “I am so sorry to interrupt this joyous occasion. How exactly are you able to determine that you guys are, in fact, mates? The triplets are not yet of age.” he asked, confused.

“William, they are Jade Wolves. Due to being able to shift from birth, they would be able to scent their mates, even from a young age. The only reason their wolves acknowledged Jakstin as their mate, is because he is nineteen years old. If he had been a minor, their wolves would not have accepted the fated mateship until they became adults.” Luna Chelsea calmly explains to William.

William just stands there sort of stunned. “I understand,” he says as his face returns to normal. “As I am sure you are aware, Jakstin, they are not of legal age, so mating cannot happen at this time. I forbid it. However, I would not object to the four of you spending time together, but I do caution that the triplets tell you about their mate situation, before things pursue further.” William states as he scratches his head.

“Today has been one hell of a day,” William’s wolf Austin says inside his mind. “There’s so much that must be done. We need to introduce them to the pack, we need to prepare them to take over, and we need to make sure they are fully trained. The Moon Goddess will see it no other way.” Austin reminds William.

“I know Austin. We just have to figure it out.” William sighed to himself, “hopefully before its too late.”

“Jakstin, girls, and others please join us around the table and I will introduce the rest before the girls explain the situation again, to everyone.” William states with his Alpha Aura, clearly flustered with the day's events.

All of the warriors and Martha bare their necks as a sign of submission as soon as the Aura fills the room. Chelsea, Thomas, Ro, Athena, and Apollo do not. The warriors looked on, half surprised and half amused. The warriors take their positions at the oval table and Martha takes her position on William’s lap. The triplets take their place, not because they had to, but because they wanted to. They wanted to share what they had learned with the new warriors, and apparently their new mate.

William sat down and then introduced everyone to the Jade wolves. “Girls, this is obviously Jakstin. He is the lead Lycan trainer and one of our top warriors. He is responsible for helping with patrols and protecting the borders.” William stated as he stood up, pointing at Jakstin, before he started pacing around the room. Everyone’s eyes followed him. He seemed restless.

“Next to him on his right is Alicia. She is the red-headed hot fairy with a temper to match. She is also one of our strongest, most brilliant warriors. Her fae magic is beyond brilliant and can connect to the grid in a way that none of us have ever seen. She may appear to be a 5ft tall lady, but do not let her size fool you. She can shrink to the size of a thimble and can ultimately become undetectable with the right magic. She protects the children of the pack.” William continues. He walks towards the bourbon cart, pours a shot and shoots it back. “She should pair with the last person, to help you focus on your magic.”

The room remains quiet as Thomas, Chelsea, Ro, Athena, and Apollo take in the information regarding the new warriors. William placed the shot glass back down on the cart, and went back to pacing the room.

“On the left, you will find Mark. He is a hybrid. He is part Dragon, part Vampire. Yes, I know an odd combination.” William says as he walks over to the back window, opens the drapes and looks outside. He simply stands there. “I told you we have people and creatures of all kinds here. 2,600 members.”

He pauses for a moment as he strokes his chin. Thomas looks at Chelsea, the triplets look adoringly into the eyes of their mate, and the warriors sit tense, slightly confused. Martha had been pacing behind her husband, but eventually got frustrated and made her quiet entrance, slipping out of the secret door when everyone’s back was turned.

“Mark is one of our most valuable assets. He grows fifty times larger than he is, when he is in battle. He has superhuman hearing. He can literally hear an ant piss three miles away if he focuses.” William laughs out loud. “He also harnesses the power of the Sun God Helios, which is the same power that you girls hold within yourself.” William relentlessly acknowledges. “Mark should be the one to train you on your fire power.”

William continued to pace, and once again made his way back to the bourbon cart. This time he poured a double. His fist slammed against the table. He quickly regained control when his Wolf Austin, told him to calm down.

“Dude, you have to calm down. What the f**k is wrong with you?” he asked him angrily in the mind-link.

“I don’t know Austin. Something is coming. I don’t know what it is, but something is. It may not be good. It could be the worst thing to happen so far. I’m just on edge. I just have this feeling.” William responds back to him. “Let me introduce the last person and then I have to go.” he says to Austin, barely holding back tears. He drops his glass on the floor, simply kicking it under the buffet.

“Finally, the last warrior is the most brave of them all. He saved my life on multiple occasions. He knows a lot of magic for not having been born into the supernatural world. He is in fact human. Well, sort of. Think of Captain A from MVL. That’s him. He can die, but seems to have immorality of some sort- which we believe is a blessing from the Goddess herself. “ William stated as he stumbled into the wall.

William was becoming increasingly more agitated. Luna Chelsea was able to witness this, so she stood up, cleared her throat and suggested that the King take a bathroom break. At first he refused, but he finally heard and disappeared into the same hidden door Martha did. Everyone in the room was surprised. She was not of royal blood, yet, she could essentially command a king.

She cleared her throat once again, and directed her attention to Athena, Apollo, and Ro. “Girls, if you would not mind, could you please explain the situation to everyone new here, especially your mate?”

They all looked at each other, concern clearly written on their faces. They had only talked to family about their true identities and the prophecy. Could they really trust these apparent friends, or would one of them eventually turn out to betray them?
