The Prophecy's Beginning: The Protecors

Both Beta Thomas and Beta Chelsea dropped to the floor, blood-curdling screams escaped their mouths. Their Luna was dead, and they could not stop her from committing suicide. Their screams and the screams of the other wolves, slowly faded as darkness overtook them. It was almost as if they had entered a dream land.

A bright light slowly stalked towards them, the aura radiating off the figure was pure and the most powerful they had ever encountered in their lives. Beta Thomas and Chelsea quickly exposed their necks in submission and hit their knees, bowing deeply to the presence walking towards them.

“Please stand Thomas and Chelsea.” The voice was soft, radiating and beautiful. “You may look at me,” she tells them as she notices their heads bowed in respect. “I am Mother Selene.” she states matter of factually, “I have brought you here tonight for a very important reason.” she continues, as she ushers for them to follow her.

“Tonight the Luna had to die, in order to fulfill the prophecy. It was written long before she was born. She was aware of this before her spirit was called to its human soul. This mission was very important to her, to all kinds, not just werewolves.“ Mother Selene advises, as she slowly approaches the sac that Luna Bell ripped from her womb, discarded on the floor, just moments before lunging that silver dagger into her chest.

“I brought you here because I am bestowing upon you the gift and the powers of being an Alpha and a Luna, as well as the protectors of the Jade Wolves. You will also receive the ability to create protective shields around the triplets and protect them as you see fit.” Mother Selene states, as Thomas and Chelsea gasp.

“We do not deserve such an honor.” They both stated in unison.

“You two have been loyal to the Luna, never wavering. You have protected her and her pups. You are the two Betas in the Prophecy, who will raise the Triquetra Jade Wolves to full power. “ Mother Selene says with a smile.

“You are to take these three pups, and run as far as you can from here. Not even the Alpha can know of their location.These pups are special. Born in wolf form, they can transform upon will. They will never experience the pain of a shift. They will be blessed beyond the wildest dreams of any wolf, fae, dragon, vampire or other supernatural to have ever existed before them.” Mother Selene continues.

“Together they will unite the spiritual and supernatural worlds. However, with such power, comes many grave challenges. Until their 18th birthday, they are not to be exposed to the real world. If they are exposed before, then they could be in grave danger. “ Selene finishes, as she picks up the pups, the sac radiating the purest white light Thomas and Chelsea had ever seen.

Mother Selene slowly pulls back the sac and reveals three identical wolf pups- in their wolf forms. All three pups have the purest silver fur with white patches on their paws, a Full Blue Taurus Moon on their foreheads, and the most stunning eyes that swirl like the milky way its self. They were truly the most beautiful wolf pups Chelsea and Thomas had ever seen.

“Mother Selene” Chelsea says, “How is it possible that they can be born in wolf form?” She asks, curious, as she had never heard of this before.

“They are Jade wolves. Wolves that can transform at will.” Selene responds. “They are the first of their kind. They will bring forth a new era.” With that, Selene looked at them hastily. “You must be going.”

She reaches into her pocket, grabs a small silver dagger, brings it to her left palm and cuts it. As her silver blood trickles along her palm, she does the same to her right. She then hands the dagger to Thomas and instructs him to do the same as she had. Thomas grabs the dagger, and brings it to his left palm, mimicking the motion of the Goddess. Once complete, Selene instructs him to pass it to Chelsea, which he does. Chelsea repeats the action she had just witnessed both her Mate and the Goddess herself do, cutting into her right palm. Goddess Selene lifts her hands, exposing both her palms, her silver blood trickling down them. “Raise your palms and touch mine.” She commands. Both Chelsea and Thomas do as they are instructed.

As soon as their blood touches hers, they are lifted into the air. A bright silver light radiates around them. Power like they have never felt before surges throughout their bodies. Goddess Selene turns to Thomas. “I Mother and Goddess Selene of the Moon, hereby make you Beta Thomas of the Taurus Moon Pack, Alpha Thomas and protector of the Jade wolves. You will not inherit the Taurus Moon Pack. Your pack will grow as they are called, to you. I hereby strip you of all connections to the Taurus Moon Pack.Your duty is to protect the Jade Wolves . Do you accept?” Goddess Selene asks Thomas.

“I do”, Thomas responds.

Goddess Selene wraps her fingers together with his, power radiating into him. The names of his future pack appear on his arms, a Full Taurus Blue Moon appears on his left shoulder. He bows out of respect.

Goddess Selene then turns to Chelsea. “I Mother and Goddess Selene of the Moon, hereby make you Beta Chelsea of the Taurus Moon Pack, Luna Chelsea and protector of the Jade Wolves. You will not inherit the Taurus Moon Pack. Your pack will grow as they are called, to you. I hereby strip you of all connections to the Taurus Moon Pack.Your duty is to protect the Jade Wolves . Do you accept?” Goddess Selene asks.

“I do” responds Chelsea.

Selene wraps her fingers together with those of Chelsea, power radiating in to her. Several images appear on the arms of the newly appointed Luna. “They will make sense as time goes on.” Selene tells Chelsea. “Now you must go. Run far away and protect these pups.” She states, before pushing them out of the dream state.

The newly appointed Alpha and Luna are back in the hospital room with the pups on the floor, with their friend and Luna dead on the hospital bed. They can hear the screaming of the Alpha and his new Omega Luna, as well as the guards running towards the hospital room. Quickly, they grab the pups, and bolt as fast as they can out of the hospital room, shielding them in the new orb bestowed upon them by Selene herself. They run for the trees. No one can scent them or the pups, for they are no longer connected to the pack- and the pups have never been introduced.

The new Luna and Alpha fear for the future, afraid to let down the future Jade High Queens, as well as the Moon Goddess herself. They can’t help but wonder if they will succeed or if they will fail.
