Celeste I sat up. My hands were shaking. My breath was ragged, hitching in my chest like something was caught in it. I wanted to walk. I wanted to move and breathe and shake the vision off. But the dark pressed in around me and all I could see were those yellow eyes, patient and hungry, waiting for me in every shadow. “Wren, are you all right?” Alec sat up beside me. He must have come back while I was asleep. I shook my head. “Easy now.” His voice was soft. “I can’t breathe.” I was shaking harder now, my chest tight. “Yes, you can. Easy, Wren.
