“You’ve been staring at the sky for a long time now...” I turned when I heard Mom’s voice. She took a step away from the door of the balcony and stepped forward, meeting with me at the railing, and held onto it.
“You didn’t even notice that I have been there standing, there’s no stars tonight.” She muttered and glanced at me. “What about the kids?”
“They are sleeping.” I exhaled and took my gaze back to the sky.
We both fell silent, she wasn’t saying anything and neither was I. The kid's birthday was a few days away, and there was a lot of preparation in place, since we were having a party at the pack house we had to put a lot of things in place and send out invitations.
Jeema had been a great help, and the kids love her, she teaches at the high school in the pack.
