Isabella's POV “Who is that?” I heard Damien call out, and I gathered the blanket and adjusted well into it. Approaching footsteps rang louder in my ears like a bell, and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. “The keys!” He finally noticed, and there was silence for a while. I strained my ears, listening attentively to every movement and sound. “There you are,” The key's dangling sound filled the atmosphere, and I heaved a deep sigh, but there was one more thing left. I bit down my trembling lips and wondered if he would notice the open booth and lock it. Thankfully he did, cause the booth slammed shut a few seconds later. Finally, the car sped off, and we were on our way to God knows what. I can tell Damien felt pressured as he was in a hurry to get to where he was heading to.
