I walked out hand in hand with my mother and opened the car door for her. We both made sure to smile all through the night. It was the only way to deceive those fools and make them believe we actually liked them.
“Goodnight my darling friend.” My mother greeted Celeste, and my eyes rolled at the reeking mockery. I wonder how Celeste never perceived my mother's hatred for her.
I drove out of the Blackwood mansion, my mind boiling with hatred and anger.
“I wonder who the hell he thinks he is to tell me what to do. Did you see how overprotective he was of Isabella? He makes me want to puke so bad.” I sneered and my mother chuckled mockingly.
“Don't you dare fall in love with that girl, son. Not now, not ever. She's only a stepping stone to achieve our aim.” My mother warned
