CHAPTER 38 During the next few days, Martin and Vivian alternated staying with Brian, while the twins attended necessary classes only. They were relieved that neither one of them was scheduled for work. Every day Brian's vital signs became stronger and now he was able to leave the incubator area for short periods of time. He still hadn’t adapted to the exterior environment, or to functioning on his own. They started Brian slowly on food, first liquids but his body seemed to quickly adapt to eating and digesting as if he’d naturally done it from infant stage.
