CHAPTER 23
About a week after the rally, Brad and Evie were sitting in the Hot Spot Shoppe having a snack and drinks between classes and trying to figure out what they could do about Jonathan and their other friends. Brad was totally frustrated, “Jon hasn’t just changed his clothes, he’s become someone entirely different, someone neither us know.”
“Or, want to know, “Evie added. “Oh, and did you see the “Hum V” he drove to school? Where the hell did he get the money for that thing?”
“That’s just one of his new toys, he also has a new motorcycle and from what I hear, he’s getting a ski mobile. And, we both know, he hates snow, with a passion!”
