CHAPTER 31 Vivian hadn’t noticed Martin’s return to the lab and he momentarily startled her. He filled her in on the twin’s progress but soon realized her attention was solely directed at the incubator. Martin quickly saw the reason. The bubbling fluid sample had started to take on a defined shape. It appeared to be going through what they knew to be the earliest stages of a developing embryo. Martin pulled up a chair and sat next to his wife. "Martin, I can’t believe what we’re witnessing. The cells appear to be forming, splitting, multiplying and then reforming at an inconceivable pace. This form wasn’t there a moment ago. “From the calculations Rosie has given me, it seems that in the same time it might take one cell to develop, hundreds more seem to be forming.” Martin re-p
