Emily stood up abruptly. "Don't touch him".
Mark and Lucian glanced at her in confusion surprised at her strange reaction.
"I mean. .I mean don't touch him, he's innocent", Emily stammered as she explained her voice fading into a hushed whisper.
"You tell them",Emily said to Mia suddenly feeling knackered and nervous, unable to continue with her words.
"Alright", Mia replied and explained excluding the Lucian part by merely saying Emily was inebirated so as a good Samaritan the guy helped her home but Emily was too drunk and somehow they both spent the night together so as to spare everyone some dignity.
"But that doesn't make him innocent either, he . .", Lucian began but was interrupted by Mia's heavy stare.
