CHAPTER 14Erin was startled awake by her phone. She looked at the time and saw that it was only just after 9 o’clock. She had fallen asleep one her bed with her notepad on her chest and her laptop next to her where she had been making ideas for the Towasana Towers. Erin picked up her phone and couldn’t stop the grin from seeing Jason’s name across the caller ID.
“Hey, Jason,” she sighed leaning back and stretching her sore muscles. She didn’t think she had been asleep that long.
“Hey, baby.” His voice was like warm butterscotch that was a balm to her heart. “You sound groggy. Did I wake you?” He started to sound concerned.
