CHAPTER 7Erin waited in her dark apartment with bated breath. She didn’t have the courage to outright answer Jason’s question. She let her body do the talking for her. She had been wanting him all night and finding out he was her boss hadn’t affected her libido. In fact, she was waiting naked for him with bated breath. Erin still wanted him. If he was willing to take the risk then so was she. When Jason didn’t appear in her apartment right away, she felt a moment of panic. Had he changed his mind? Had her intentions not been clear? When his silhouette crossed her threshold, Erin released a breath she didn’t know she had been holding.
Jason kicked the door shut, shrouding the room back into darkness. With little effort, he pulled her into his arms and took her mouth in a possessive kiss. O
