Chapter 8

Nathan's Pov

"Mum dad, im home!" i sauntered into the house taking of my shoes and socks placing them by the door.

"oh nathan you're finally home, get changed we are going out for dinner with a old friend of ours he has a daughter around your age, you guys will become good friends" my mum said with a cheerful grin as she poked her head out from the kitchen, i just softly laugh, "yes mum is it just a casual dinner or what?" i reply as i place my bag in the kitchen and grab out a cupcake, i go to take a bite down on it but it disappears from my hand, what the.. w where'd it go? i turn around and i see my mother had it as she smirked at me and started eating and my jaw drops "muuuuum that was the last cupcake" i pouted as my mum just stuck her tongue out at me "sharing is caring Nate thought i taught you better my son" i stared at her in disbelief "b but you just ate the whole thing!, if sharing is caring then why did you steal it all" i whined even more, my mum just pats my head and laugh "well im your mother thats why haha" she spoke with such humor in her tone.

(2 hours later)

 I started to get ready, my mum told me to dress nicely so i decided to wear a button up blue shirt and black jeans,i grab my phone off my desk and head down stairs to my mum's car, i hop in the back seat after awhile we finally make it to the restaurant.

we get to our table, we then wait for my parents friend and his daughter, after 10 minutes they arrive, this guys daughter had a beautiful white and blue faded flowy dress with a rose-gold belt around her waist showing of her figure slightly her hair was a deep brown color with her eyes being hazel shade, to be honest she was quite a looker.

i blushed as i stared at her, and they sit at the table with us "took you guys a bit hmm ahaa" my mum chuckled looking at the man and his daughter "oh my Melissa you have grown so much i remember you when you were a 11 year old" my dad gleamed.

"thank you Mr Taylor" she giggled then gave a huge toothy smile then she turn her head into my direction, "and you must be Nathan I've heard so much about you from your mum, its nice to finally meet you" she puts her hand out for a hand shake i happily obliged as i put my hand in hers shook it lightly then pulled away, "likewise, i can see we will be great friends" i beam after awhile we started ordering our food i had a pulled pork burger and side of chips and salad.

"so whats your school like" Melissa's eyes twinkle at me with a hint of curiosity "hm? why do you wanna know?" i tilt my head to the left, "well because we are moving into this town and ill be attending your school, so i wanted to get to know what its like beforehand i mean if its alright with you" she did a closed eye smile as i notice she lean closer to me.

i look up and shake my head with a smile while chuckling inside my head she is a funny one that's for sure "well i'd say its a alright school, but the only downfall are the bullies their, i shouldn't have a problem fitting in, i don't think they will target you anyways" i look back down an gaze back at her.

"i cant wait to move we will get to hang out together kinda makes it easier knowing you'll be there Nate, oh would you give me a tour around the school?" she babbles on, i give a nod then we finally get our dinner, then we all dig in to our meals.

Katsu's Pov

As Nico falls i run in front of him and catch him, his head landing on my chest "are you ok?" and i hear him muffle a thank you "i bring him back to his feet and chuckle " that was a close one your face nearly smacked onto the tiles" i look at his face admiring it, yep wouldn't want his beautiful face getting bruised.... wait a second i go to look closer and see a big bruise forming on his jaw and cheek "Nico who did this to you" i growl, all i get is Nico cowering away from me.

"please d don't h hu hurt me" i hear him whimper out as tears form at the side of his golden eyes, i instantly regret growling cause i've now scared him, "i'm sorry if i scared you Nico i didn't mean to i'm just worried i mean you didn't have a bruise on your face earlier today so i know its recent, please tell me... who did this to you?" i softly graze my hand on his cheek with a look of worry clearly written on my face.

nico looks down and whispers "i deserved it, after all i got my mother killed" he then explains how his mother died, after a few minutes he started explain what happened ever since.

"my dad beats me because i caused her death, i wish i was the one who died" he was bawling his eyes out so i did what any logical human being would do and pulled him into a hug, his tears soaked my shirt but i didn't care, i know deeply he needed this.

why does he think he's to blame, he was only a clueless child he didnt know the dangers of the road i look at him with sorrowful eyes.

"Hey um would you maybe like to come and watch a movie with me i think it might help cheer you up yeah?" I questioned Nico, he just nods with a sad smile, "t that would be nice um do you happen to own a any anime?" His eyes sparked when he mentioned it.

"Oh well i have a anime movie called the boy and the beast, would you be interested in that?" I scratch the back of my neck hoping he says yes.

"I'd love to watch it I've seen trailers of it and it looked interesting" he smiles ear to ear.

I proceed to grab his hand, and i see a slight hue of pink dusted on his pale cheeks, "i'll lead you to my room" as i do that I continue holding his hand.

I put the movie in after i found it collecting dust on a shelf, "s so katsu why did you wanna be my friend? I'm sorry if thats weird n never mind you dont hav to answer!" I take a peak over my shoulder seeing him blushing with his eyes shut tightly with his hands in a closed fist in his lap, I then stride into his direction and bent down slightly so we are face to face, close enough to feel the warmth of his breath on my face, i then proceed to place my index finger under his chin an I lift it up slowly.

I hear him gasp, as our lips collided with one another, and from then on I knew i needed to make him mine.
