Chapter 7

Katsu's Pov

After my last class I quickly got into my car and drove home, as i got inside i went up stairs to my bedroom throwing my bag near the front of it, as i lay onto my back while shoving my hand in my pocket pulling out my phone.

I stare at it then search for Nico's name through the contact and sent a text to him

Katsu: hey wat's up ?

After 10 minutes still no reply i sigh in disappointment as I threw my phone next to me on my bed.

I then hear footsteps coming up the stairs, and my bedroom door was kicked open and my body bolts up as i stand there to see my brother Haru standing in the door frame staring me down.

"Katsu look here you have to come see mother she is quite sick, stop being a little s**t" Haru spoke with a sharp tone to his voice.

"Hell no I'm not going to that sluts bedside because she is sick it won't c change how much i resent her from cheating on dad." I sneared at Haru in full displeasure

"WHAT THE f**k IS WRONG WITH YOU, SHE IS STILL THE PERSON WHO GAVE BIRTH TO US STOP ACTING LIKE SHE ISN'T YOUR MOTHER AS WELL KATSU STOP BEING SUCH A BRAT!!" He scream furiously at me as I my eyes then widen while gulping knowing very well that i havent seen him this angry in years, even though I could easily beat him in a fight i wasnt in the mood to, " fine haru...you win I'll go but im only going so you'll stop pestering me now get out of my room before i get more pissed" i Turned around and grab my phone, i start to play on it as i sit on my bed, i then hear him leave the room

Nico's Pov

I get home and i see my dad passed out on the couch, i then try to tiptoe my way around him so he doesn't wake up, but to my bad luck he woke and for me it isn't good especially if i'm home earlier then usual.

"Brat come here....now!" My father roared, i then do as he says i walk in front of him while looking at the floorboards.

"Why are you home so early huh!" My dad proceeds to punch me in the face as  my head snapped to the right as I hear a slight crack from the impact, my legs nearly gave out from the force my dad hit me with I knew this was going to happen it will never stop.

My father then just went a full on rage grabbing a bat as he begins hitting my right leg, i hear my bones breaking as i scream out in pain and fell on the floor sobbing in agony, "p please stop it h hurts" i manage to say but only to get a kick in the face all i felt was blood filling in my mouth.

dont you ever speak  back to me you little cunt he grabs my neck and pushes me against the wall and made me choke slightly, as he leans close and whispers in my ear, "don't you ever f*****g be home early again or next time i wont hold back" he then shoves me towards the kitchen, "get me a cup of whisky on ice quick or you will get another beating".

i follow his demands rushing towards the freezer in the kitchen,i open the freezer door  i grab the ice cubes quickly, putting a few in a glass cup and filling nearly the whole cup of whiskey, i then returned to the living room and placed it on his coffee table "h here you g go s sir" i look down frightened to look at my so called father.

"now piss off back to your room i don't wanna see you till dinner time" he murmurs, i limp to my room hissing in pain and then bites my bottom.

 i should of died instead of mother i know i should of its all my fault, if mum was still alive would dad love me again?  i sigh and smile while crying, "it probably wouldnt matter if i killed myself no one would notice me gone anyways" i then patch up my wounds then sneak in my dads room with a slight limp in my step i take 50 dollars from his wallet then jump out the window, i walk on the side walk what seems to be half a hour, then i see bunnings i walk in.

(1 hour later)

i get home and hide the rope under my bed, even though no one comes into my room just gotta make sure i think to myself, i then decided to take a shower, i grab my phone so i could listen to music. 

I strip down naked and then press play on my playlist and sing along.

"I'm holding on your rope got me ten feet off the ground and i'm hearing what you say, but i just cant make a sound"

"you tell me that you need me then you go cut me down, but wait you tell me that you're sorry didnt think i'd turn around, and say"

"that its too late to apologize, its too late its too late to apologize, its too late" 

after my shower i get dressed into a black shirt and hoodie with some sweat pants, i then here a notification on my cheap phone go off, i grab it and open it up seeing a message from Katsu "it was sent 13 minutes ago" i say to myself out loud, i then go into the messages and see his message.

Katsu: hey wat's up?

Nico: nothing much um just had a shower not long ago

i waited two minutes till i got a reply back

Katsu: ah ok cool i'm at home right now, was wondering if you'd like to come hang out, you know like at mine

i then blush bright red then i see another message straight away

Katsu: you don't have to if your not comfortable enough to come over

Nico: NO! i mean i can come over to hang out

i quickly responded back my face flashed in embarrassment

Katsu: come around at 5:30pm see you then cutie

Nico: o ok

i turn my phone screen off "he just called me cute" and hide my face in my hands embarrassed from what he said, "seriously didn't see that coming" i muffled into my hand.

i suppose i have few hours to kill before i go i might as well make dinner now, hmm how about chicken parma , i rubbed my chin then agreed to make that i got the pans, spatula cheese,premade parma sauce and bread-crumbed chicken schnitzel and i started cooking.

(1 hour and 30 minutes later)

i was sitting uncomfortably at the dinner table with my brother and dad, i only ate half of my food as i was just feeling sick with my dad around me.

i then excuse myself from the table and threw out the rest of the food on my plate, i go to my room and grab my phone off my bed and plug my earphone in and jump out my bedroom window closing it behind me and i call up Katsu for his address and he tells me and its not that far from my place.

i finally arrive at Katsu's place and i gawk at how big it is but then i hear the front door open and i was greeted by Katsu's grin, "thanks for coming over Nico i was getting bored, here by myself come in!" he invites me into his house as i stutter out a thank you as he steps to the side to let me in, i walk in and tripped and he catches me before i fell on my face.

my cheeks turned red as i realized my face was on his chest and to be honest i liked it alot.
