Chapter 2

It's now lunch time Nico decided to go to the cafeteria today, he bought a cheese burger with a bottle of water then went off to an empty table sitting down eating his food silently, but his piece was disturbed when he hears someone trudging their way towards him, he snaps his head towards the noise, seeing the boy Nathan looking down at him with a small smile.

"Hey may I sit with you cutie?" Nico's eyes widen and blushed at the crystal blue eye boy as he nodded gently slightly confused why someone would talk to him let alone be nice towards him.

Nathan's POV

There he was sitting alone at a table time to make my move I smirk to myself after a few seconds it fades, I head towards Nico as he turned his head my way and I stop pulling a small smile. "Hey may I sit with you cutie?" I politely ask him and he agreed by nodding I placed my ass on the seat.

"Umm w why you of all people want to sit with a nobody like me" he whispered only loud enough for me to hear, I smirk replying while I touch his thigh leaning close to his ear.

Speaking in a low sexy tone "cause a little birdy told me nobody's perfect" and his face reddens at the point you could feel heat radiating off of him I pull back chuckling he is so easy to mess with I think I should play with him a bit more it should be fun I stroked his cheek, "you're so adorable, but even more when you blush" Nico faced down trying to hide his red cheeks, but then I heard a few shuffles coming towards us and I turned to face a group of five guys.

"Well well, look what we we have here" there leader also known as Katsu Spoke up as he smirked at us his gang gave us the same looks towards us, Adrian decided to butt into the conversation.

"Looks like a couple of fag's to me" he cringed in disgust, grabbing Nico by his throat and threw him against the tiles, stomping on his stomach while he was at it, Nico looked like he was howling in pain and I wasn't about to let someone get away with that how dare they hurt my Nico...wait did I just say my Nico...yea I did.

A growl interrupted my thoughts "back away from him or else" I spoke with a menacing voice and clenched my fists in pure anger.

"Or else what? You're going tell the teacher like a little b***h you are?" Katsu spat out at me as I grinned insanely at him making his eyes widen as I wrestled him to the ground, straddling him starting to pummel him, his gang tried to pull me off, after a couple of minutes they finally succeeded.

"YOU BETTER f*****g STAY AWAY FROM MY NICO OR NEXT TIME I'LL KILL YOU!!" I bellow out angryly, yanking myself out of his gangs grip noticing everyone glancing at us gasping or looking terrified by the sight, I picked up the unconscious short black hair boy taking him to the nurse's office, placing him on the bed, the nurse came in when she spotted Nico she gasped.

"What happened to him!?" She looked at me raising a brow at me with a scary look on her face I looked down.

"It doesn't matter just do your damn job" I mumble glaring at the wall still pissed off, I f*****g wish I ripped that assholes head off, I then peaked at Nico, my eyes sadden as the guilt ate me up alive I couldn't protect him those other times he was bullied why did I just sit back, watching him getting tortured by those s**t heads, that won't happen anymore I will protect him I have to protect my precious Nico.

"Nathan head outside and cool off" the nurse guides me to the door, as I was about to protest she shoves me out hand gesturing for me to leave, sighing I did just that taking a walk around the school.

Katsu's POV

"You look like s**t dude" Reita commented crouching down to my height, I just gave him a soft glare as Adrian, Sataki and Damien stare me down looking at me like clowns, sitting up I rubbed my face wincing in pain.

"Thanks Rei that will do...., f**k that guy can sure throw a punch" I grumbled standing up by assistants from Reita and Damien, "thanks guys" they replied with a 'you're welcome Kat's', "I'm going to head off to my place if any of you guys want to join, grab your bag and let's leave this joint".

" I can't leave the school grounds or else my mother is going to rip me a new one if she finds out I'm ditching again" Adrian puffed out his cheeks in annoyence, I just nodded understanding then looked at the other three.

"Damien and I were going to hang out at the bar sorry mate" Reita chuckled as Damien apologised as I just sighed shaking my head at them.

"You two are just unbelievable with your damn drinking habits but sata, your with me right?" My eyes holding hope while looking at him as he nods grinning, he always listened to me but never spoke unless necessary and I kinda like that in him.

"Ok come on let's go" we skedaddled to the classroom collecting our bags then strolled along to my mansion.

Nico's POV

I opened my eyes groggily and my eyesight start to clear up finally noticing I'm in a bed, wait bed! how did I get here, where am I by the way? I look around the room I was in, curious on how I got here, then I remember my stomach being crushed and just as I think of that I noticed I'm shirtless with bandages wrapped around my torso, realizing my scars and bruises are showing.

Crying out silently in pain when I felt a burning sensation where I was stomped on, wrapping my arms around myself, then I felt someone rub my back in a circular motion trying to sooth me.

"Are You Ok also, what is your name?" A sound of a woman's voice whispered softly into my ear, raising my head I notice long brownish brownish black hair recognizing her as the school's nurse.

"My n name is Nico ma'am and my stomach hurts like hell but I can handle it" I stared at her emotionlessly but with silent tears falling down My face, I wipe them away shifting around a bit before I then pushed myself off the bed, "where did you place my clothing ma'am!?" I ask the middle aged nurse, she point to a shelf an I hobble over to the shelf, looking though it finding my clothes, slipping then on carefully so it doesn't rub against my bruises too much, I turn to look at the nurse "I'll be leaving now" I went to exit the room but she stops me.

"You're not in any condition to move about too much young man, please stay here and rest" she pleaded I politely denied her.

"I don't want to bother you any longer then I should have, I'm sorry" I walk out into the hallway she calls out to me, I sighed turning around to face her "what else do you want ma'am?".

" at least go home an rest in begging you" she urges on, I answer with a simple 'fine' grabbing a paper slip off the the nurse to go home and left for my class room seeing Mr Coleman teaching I walk in giving him the paper slip, as he rubbed his temple in annoyence.

"OK go grab your things and you may leave..., oh before I forget you have a test next month I want you to study hard this month, last semester you didn't do as well so I'm hoping you will do better this time" he hands me a maths and science book I nod at him, grabbing my bag shoving the school books into my bag, then remembered about my homework I finished the other night pulling it out of my bag gingerly passing it over to my teacher then put my bag over my shoulder exiting the school building to head home and I spot Nathan smoking.

He noticed me passing by and grinned walking over to me, hugging me tightly as I flinched pleading with my eyes for him to release me out of his grip he noticed my plead and let's me go. "I'm sorry I just miss you and The nurse kicked me out to calm down, she was such a biiiittch she spilt us apart my baby boy" he whaled pulling my head into his chest and rubbing his cheek against my head as my face just reddens.

"P please stop this we barely even know e each other" I stuttered, he pouted pulling away slightly looking into my eyes.

"We can get to know each other, let's become friends cutie what do you say?" He smiled gently grabbing my hand.

"Alright Nathan we can be friends" my lips rise into a small smile as he hugged me again, but this time I returned it if you're watching, I made a friend for the first time in years I look up into the sky with my eyes having a hint of hope still left in me.
