He stared at Blair’s information and her picture with curiosity.

What is such a girl doing at the party?

“I can’t believe I mate with this girl she looks so skinny” he thought to himself

“prepare the car I’m going to see how she’s doing” Mr Thomas said the assistant bowed his head left the office following his boss orders.

Mr Thomas walked to the driveway where the car was neatly parked, Mr Elias hurriedly pulled open the door of the passenger entrance letting Mr Elias sit down.

He sat down trying to readjust his suit “sir I heard from the girl’s neighbor that she is being maltreated by her step sister and mother” Mr Elias said.

“take me there” He replied with a frown.

“Sir we’re here” Mr Elias announced. Mr Thomas looked across the house opposite him and saw lily cursing at Blair “If you weren’t a bad luck your mother would still be alive and you tried to kill my precious daughter last night”.

“Thankfully your mother isn’t alive I might have not met your lovely father she said added”.

with a triumphant smile.

Blair sobbed uncontrollably, as Thomas watched in disbelief. “That’s enough”.

A passerby yelled when he saw the situation, “how could you treat her like this” he continued.

“What did she do to deserve this kind of scolding”.

“hahahaha” Lily laughed trying to reach out for her breathe and

“who are you to meddle in my fight with my maid?” She said sending him a dead look since he couldn’t reply Lily shouted honey ……. honey her husband came rushing to her.

“what is wrong?” He asked worriedly.

“Blair have the guts to hook up with men right under your nose and the loser who looks nice in a rented suit have the right to come to our house to question me”

the father gave Blair a deadly look “who is this animal in my house” he yelled and what is he doing here Blair tremble in fear with a shaky voice “I don’t know him I’ve never seen in before”.

Mr wood got angry pour the hot tea he was holding tightly in his right hand on her causing her to scream her lungs out the stranger tried to help, her but was punched by the father he lost his balance and fell he knew there was no way to help her, and turned to leave Blair was dragged inside by her stepmom.

Mr Elias knew it’s going to be a hell for her he pleaded “sir why can’t you step down and help her she’s look skinny and her body is cover up in bruises and she’ll suffer more beating if you don’t help her!”

Mr Thomas rub his face “let’s go back I’ll take her as my bride tomorrow tell my lawyer to prepare a temporary marriage contract and hand it over tomorrow morning”

the assistant nodded and drove him to his mansion. All the maids bow to him as he approached the living room he saw his mother chatting with his brother.

“Mum” he said as he move closer to them he sat down and ask

“what is wrong mum why are you frowning?” He asked in panic.

“you’re getting older and I’m meeting my grave soon I need to see my grandchildren before I leave this earth” she said with a disappointing expression on her face.

Thomas held her hand “I think I found a wife”

His younger brother shouted what???

“What did you just say?”

“You’ve been having an affair” and “we didn’t know about it?” He exclaimed.

“calm down let me explain to the both of you” Thomas said.

As he continued “I haven’t been having any affair I met a young girl at the party hosted at my bar and after that I found out I was her first so I’ve promised myself to marry her”

the mother smiled and said have discussed with her!?

“I thought you were allergic to woman and you don’t know how to s*x so how come” The brother said jokingly.

“i don’t see any bad idea having your tongue cut off” Mr Thomas said with a threatening tone.

his brother cover his mouth and said you’re so cruel I wonder which lady is going to love you for your grumpiness he’s mother hit him hard on his thigh don’t say such to my son she continued with a smile. Thomas said but mom there’s another problem her family seems to hate her so much and I don’t understand why don’t you think she’s not good for me?

He added with a sigh, his mother said we’ll find that out tomorrow.

The ray of sunlight shines on the face of mr Thomas and woke him up, it’s already morning he said reaching out for his glasses then he sat on the couch with his leg crossed and his left hand on his cheeks holding his phone on the right hand then there was a knock on the door.

“ come in” he said,

good morning mr Thomas a maid said scratching his glass of coffee towards him.

“how are you doing?”

mr Thomas said “I’m fine sir” replied the maid

“is my mum and brother awake” he asked sipping his coffee,

“yes sir”

your mum has instructed me to get your suit ready.

Ok you can do that now, knock knock.. come in said Thomas and his assistant walked in sir he started the old lady has instructed me to get a dowry of 1million dollars ready I’m came here to ask if there’s anything you would want to add to it.
