Kari's POV.
I yawned and woke up. The bed I was in was comfortable and I was surrounded by my mate's scent. I kept my eyes closed and smiled. It was the best sleep I had been in a while, felt like I had slept for over 24 hours. I opened my eyes and looked up at an unfamiliar white ceiling and frowned. I sat up hearing Grant moan next to me. He yawned and woke up before smiling up at me.
"Where are we?" I asked him.
"The Alpha suite at my pack." He said, looking at his watch. It was still light out but I knew it was the evening.
"When...What?" I stuttered. 'Hela.?'
'I am sorry my human, I had to put you into hibernation. We were about to go to war with his father, and I knew I would need to kill people, you weren't ready for that.'
