Kari's POV
I didn't like his sister, and neither did Hela. I was glad Carl was next to me. I was also impressed that I managed to control Hela as well as I did. I also got the impression the Beta wasn't keen on her either. I was relieved when I found out that Carl would stay with me. I didn't like to admit it, but I had become rather attached to him.
"How are you feeling?" My mate asked me as he put his arm around me and we waited for his father to appear.
"Overwhelmed," I said. He rubbed circles on my shoulder with his thumb and it calmed me. Hela was purring in my head. "Hela is like a damn cat."
"Zeus isn't much better." He chuckled. "I would love to meet Hela."
