I looked at Gamma Carlton and he smiled at me as the two just stood there staring at each other.
"You are seeing firsthand how the mate bond works." He said quietly, only for me to hear. I smiled and stepped forward.
"Chloe, this is my brother Magnus." I smiled at her. What she said next shocked us all.
"You are my beloved?" She said. Gamma Carlton shot his head around so fast I was surprised his neck didn't snap.
