GeorgieA couple weeks had passed since the last time Alonzo, tried to message and I was relieved that he finally seemed to get the hint. It was a beautiful April Day, just a few weeks before my birthday. The three of us were on our way to pick up Aggie for a play day, first the movies then lunch and games at Emperor Tony’s, listening to the R&B station on the radio when the female announcer started talking about an upcoming show.

“Hey, that’s my birthday. Wait… Christopher Lewis, wasn’t he on the mixtape you gave me?”
