GeorgieOnce I was all checked into the “Coconut & Lime” day spa, the receptionist brought me a glass of wine and a plate of fruit.
“This is nice.”
“Thank you, it’s part of your birthday package. We also have a cheese and meat plate.”
“Of course, he picked the fruit,” I laughed to myself.
“Ma’am?”
“Nothing. I’m okay right now. Thank you.”
“My pleasure, you just let us know if you need anything while you wait.”
“Do you know how much longer it’s going to be?”
“Just a few minutes, they are getting everything set up.”
“Okay, thank you.”
I had my head back on the plush couch, with my eyes closed, waiting for them to call me back for my massage when I heard the door open. I didn’t bother to open my eyes. I felt the cushion next to me drop and felt myself starting to get irritated.
