Mirabella I’m confused… Where the heck am I? I remember going to my room—my feet aching, my mind racing—and then Xander came in. After that? Everything blurs like a watercolor left in the rain. I don’t know what happened exactly, but I remember hearing someone calling my name and feeling a wave of pain rising in my chest like a tidal wave. I took a pill before Xander arrived—yeah, I’m sure of that—but one wasn't enough. It never is. How long has it been since then? My back burns like it’s been branded, and when someone touched it, I couldn’t help but flinch and wince. My ribs feel like someone smashed them with a sledgehammer, and my shoulder… gods, my shoulder is numb, but not in a painless way. It’s more like I’ve grown used to the agony. I wonder if I can even walk on my own anymore
