TEARS IN THE DARK AND A SCHOKING VISIT

Late Night Return

The party was over. It was very late at night. The big car stopped in front of the house. Leon came back with his girlfriend Clara.

They walked upstairs to his room. Clara stayed for a little while, then she said goodbye and went home to her own house. Everything was quiet again.

The Broken Master

Lina was finishing her work downstairs. She thought she should check if Master Leon needed anything before she slept. She walked quietly towards his room. The door was slightly open.

She was about to knock, but she stopped.

She heard a strange sound. It was not shouting or anger. It was... crying. 😢

Lina was shocked. She peeked inside.

There, sitting on the floor next to his bed, was the strong and cold Leon. But right now, he was not acting like a master. He was holding his head in his hands, and his body was shaking. Tears were falling down his face like rain.

"Father... Father..." he whispered sadly. "It is my fault... You died because of me... If I had not asked you to come that day, you would still be alive... I am so alone..."

Lina’s heart melted. She realized that he was not just rude for no reason. He was hurting inside. He missed his father terribly and blamed himself.

She forgot he was her master. She forgot he threw food at her. She only saw a sad, lonely boy.

She walked inside slowly. "Master...?"

Leon looked up. His eyes were red and wet. When he saw Lina, he did not shout. He stood up shakily and grabbed her hands.

"Lina... please... don't go," he begged, his voice broken. "Everyone leaves me. Please stay with me tonight. Don't leave me alone..."

Before she could answer, he pulled her close and hugged her tightly. 🫂💔

He rested his head on her shoulder, crying like a child. Lina stood still. She felt strange, but she also felt pity. She gently patted his back to comfort him. For a moment, there was no master and no maid. Just two people sharing a moment of pain.

Both of them jumped and pulled apart. They looked towards the door, terrified.

She had come back because she forgot her mobile phone in Leon's room. She thought he was alone. But instead... she saw her boyfriend hugging the maid! She saw his tears on Lina's shoulder!
