THE OLD WOMAN WITH THE TRUTH

Fear in the Room

Everyone was quiet. Lina stood there with her hands locked in handcuffs. Her heart was heavy. She thought her life was finished. They were going to take her to prison for something she did not do.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! 🚪

The door opened again. Everyone turned to look.

Walking in was just a simple old woman. She looked ordinary, wearing simple clothes. She looked like a grandmother or just a neighbor.

Everyone was confused. "Who is this old lady?" they thought. "Why is she here at a time like this?"

They were not scared. They were not impressed. They thought she was just nobody.

The Bombshell

The old woman walked slowly into the middle of the room. She looked at the police officers seriously.

"Stop right there, Officers," she said in a calm but strong voice. "You cannot arrest this girl. She is innocent."

Madame Victoria laughed angrily. "Old woman, what do you know? Go away! This is not your business!"

But the old woman did not move. She looked straight at them and said:

"I have the EVIDENCE." 📸

"WHAT?!" everyone shouted together. The police officers became alert.

"Yes," the old woman said. "I was passing by the window earlier, and I saw everything. I also have my phone here. I recorded a video of Clara and Madame Victoria mixing something into the juice. I saw them planning to kill Lina!"

SHOCK! 😱💥

The whole room went crazy. Clara turned pale and started shaking. Madame Victoria’s mouth fell open in fear.

"NO! IT IS A LIE!" Clara screamed.

"Is it?" said the old woman. She showed the phone screen to the police. There was the video! Clear proof! They were seen putting poison in the drink!

"Arrest her!" the police pointed at Clara. "You are under arrest for murder and attempted murder!"

They grabbed Clara. She was crying and fighting, but it was too late. They put handcuffs on her now.

The Whisper

As the police were dragging Clara away, she passed close to Madame Victoria.

Quickly, secretly, Madame Victoria leaned close to her ear and whispered very softly:

"Do not worry my child. Do not say anything. I am rich and powerful. I will use all my money to get you out of jail very soon. Just wait." 😈🔗

Clara stopped crying for a moment and nodded. She was taken away, but the evil plan was not finished yet.

Lina was released. The handcuffs were opened. She looked at the old woman with tears of gratitude.

But Madame Victoria was left alone. She had no more reason to send Lina away now... but her eyes were full of hate. She was not giving up.
