A family

Today should be an easy day, we are going for a run after breakfast, and we are training in the afternoon. Alpha Craven is coming today to discuss Kaden’s new mate which is why we pushed training back.

We make our way to the dinning area to grab breakfast, Xander served me a plate and gave me a little peck. I swear my heart skips a beat every time I kiss him. We hear a few giggles and look up; Kaden was making his way into the dining room with Lexy. Good morning love birds!

Lexy looks up with a huge smile and I notice the mark on her neck. Hell yeah Kaden! Lexy started to laugh nervously and Kaden to scratch the back of his neck; Oh don’t feel bad did you not know that Xander and I mated and didn’t even know each other’s name? They both starred wide eyed, and we laughed.

Xander kissed my cheek and pulled me out of the dining area, enough chit-chat. Aristeo is clawing to be let out with Alessia. We ran to the edge of the tree line and shifted.

Alessia playfully bumped into Aristeo a few times and sprinted away. He gave her chase for a while, proud he was able to catch up.

Took you long enough I linked to Xander, he laughed for your information we were enjoying the view. Alessia truly is beautiful yellow eyes, a brown and golden wolf with black marks running from the sides of her face to her chest and black on the tip of her ears.

He shifted and started petting her, this man truly is incredible. I notice he got lost in though and shifted back. What is it Xander?

Charlotte, I know we haven’t discussed it and I will never force you or push you or guilt you or… Xander please get to the point you are rambling a bit I said with a chuckle. His gaze dropped to the ground I would love to have a family with you, kids our kids.

My heart started beating in my chest so loud I though my eardrums would explode. Please sweetheart I am not rushing you, I just want to know if you want kids in the future.

A family, little Xander’s, he would be the best father in existence. YES! I would love nothing more than to have a family and grow old with you. I love you Xander! I said as I jumped on him, we kissed and got a link that Craven was 15 minutes out. To be continued he whispered into the kiss.

Xander figured out that since we can hide our presence they were being watched since they entered our territory the first time they just didn't pick up on it.

We get to the pack house and get dressed waiting on the Alphas. Once greeted we made our way to the office to discuss Kaden and his mate. The second Lexy walked in Craven realized she was a witch and growled.

I will not accept this union; you will reject her or leave my pack he said to Kaden. He grabbed onto Lexy’s hand stood in front of her in a protective manner and rejected his alpha and pack instantly. I will not go where my mate is not accepted and walked out.

Lexy in tears grabbed on to her mate who was in pain after breaking all ties with his pack. I’m sorry is all I heard her say before the door was closed in the sound proof room.

Abaddon was furious with Craven how could you not even listen to your warrior or give them a chance, could you really be that close minded? I will not have a weak pack yelled Craven as he started to make his way to the door. Beta I expect you back mate or not tonight.

Truly this man was not thinking clearly, the main reason for their visit was the imminent attach and the search for my skills and he is willing to risk it all? My mate looked over at me with panic and fear in his eyes. Please don’t reject me, we must leave tonight.

Xander, I love you, I will catch up, let me have a conversation with my alpha.

Xander left and Abaddon and I had a chat, he will accept Kaden and Lexy into his pack with open arms. Neither of us trust Craven or agree with his laws. We agreed I will leave tonight but not reject my pack, it would be beneficial to be connected in the event of an emergency for the first weeks.

I went in search of Xander to help him pack and heard him arguing with his alpha. All I caught was Craven yelling I will not allow you to leave. I hid in the next room and waited for him to pass by, once I reached Xander he was on the edge of his bed his face buried in his hands.

The second he sensed me he sprinted up hugged me close to his body and asked me to please go with him. Xan you can’t get rid of me that easy, of course I am going with you. He kissed me with such passion and need I melted into him.

He told me he loves his pack but he would drop everything to be by my side. His alpha didn't take the news very well.
