By the time evening arrives for the Mercury Moon pack, there is a buzz in the air.
I have never participated in a pack run as I was not an important member of the pack. A Full moon run was only done by the most important members of the Aspen pack, led by the Alpha. Even then, there were mostly Betas with a handful of high-ranking Omegas. If you got an important job in the pack, you could join a pack run. It was considered a privilege to even be chosen for that.
For every other wolf, the full moon was just a night of transformation and running in the forest if they wanted to, in a way that could not interfere with the Alpha-led pack run. My family and I used to do a small pack run of ours for a couple of years after I managed to survive Selenophilia, but eventually, it stopped. After that
