Finally, as soon as Laken finished serving lunch, I got to know the Mercury Moon pack members.
First, there was Doctor Kevin Drey, Laken’s second in command. Which came as a surprise, because he was an Omega like I was, and Omegas were not given the second-in-command position. Hell, second-in-charge wolves were even called Betas. For Laken to have an Omega for his second, and an Omega doctor at that, was unlike any other.
And on top of that, Kevin was rumored to be a fighter as well. As well as the mate of one Patricia Drey.
Yes, they were married! Trisha and Kevin were mates and they had married each other just months before I came here. They had the newlywed glow around them, always standing or sitting next to each other, whispering their own secrets and holding hands under the table
