I’ve got a schedule now. I get paid at the end of the work week every Saturday. I work six days a week because I want to save enough money for me to move on as soon as possible and when the day comes, afford a hospital visit. But the bills for hospitals were crazy expensive without health insurance, and I did not have health insurance. So, I had only three choices when it came to giving birth. Do it by myself at whatever place I could find shelter in, find someone else like a doula to help me with a homebirth, or collect enough money for a hospital.
