Chapter TwelveIt was over a week later that three figures, dressed in black, moved quickly and silently through a thick darkness. There were no streetlights to guide them, just a patchy glow from the moon and the stars above them. Kitto led the way. He and Jack had spent the last couple of nights casing the mansion, noting where the cameras were and plotting a route in. It looked as though there were two security guards, but they were rarely seen outside the house and spent most of their time indoors, presumably monitoring the cameras.
