Chapter Twenty-EightThe spell was now almost complete, and it was as though the whole moor was holding its breath whilst the magic took place. There were no birds in the sky, the breeze had dropped and even the clouds appeared stationary, pausing on their journey across the horizon in order to observe the witch.
