After the argument I had with Melissa the previous night, in order to avoid doing or saying something that I would end up regretting, I left the mansion and went to one of my safe houses to spend the night.
The safe house is somewhere that I rarely came to even while I was still married to Amelia, and this was because Amelia and I rarely argued, and whenever we argued, it was because she caught me discussing with Melissa through the phone or heard that I went out with her.
