The morning glow seeped through the curtain and entered my closed eyes as the sun stood proudly in the sky. I had slept by his side through the night that I didn’t know when daylight came.
My eyes flickered open as I released a loud yawn from the tiredness, only for me to see him staring at me sweetly with his hand supporting his face to my face’s angle. His eyes were filled with fascination as if that was the first time he would see me properly.
I jerked up immediately to avoid the uncomfortable stare but lost my balance and crashed back into him without being able to save myself at all.
