I can feel her words struck right through mine. I seek for revenge very badly like her and we have almost the same scenario that happened to us.
“We almost have the same thing that we’re fighting for! King Darius killed my mother after what he did to me and my blood boils so badly for revenge as much as I can feel it in you too. Just as Finley said, we can work it all out together and we’ll have the justice that our parents deserves, that the people deserves, and that WE deserve.”
Kasstin thought for a moment and after quite a while of thinking to herself, she finally agreed.
Kasstin thought for a moment and after quite a while of thinking to herself, she finally said, “When can I start?”
“You’re doing it?” Finley replied to her in an optimistic way.
“Didn’t you hear me, boy?” she said smiling to us.
“That’s great! Thank you, Kasstin and welcome to the party! Looking forward to our future endeavors and for the friendship we’ll build along the way.” I formally greeted her. Then I added, “Do you have time right now? Would you like to come with us on our secret dwelling?”
“Oh that’s a start! Of course I would love to! You all will get tired of seeing this beautiful face every day anyways, might as well start it today.” She sneered at us.
We all just laughed and started to head our way.
On our way to our destination, I can’t seem to not notice my two companion already starting to get closer to each other. They are teasing and making jokes for each other. Why do I seem to feel a little left out?
I took a swift glance at Finley to observe if he’s comfortable with her despite the jests and sure enough he is. He doesn’t seem to feel awkward around her despite the short time they’ve only known each other.
They started to include me in their conversation but I can’t seem to grasp what they were telling me. My mind’s all over the place right now. I just can’t seem to remove the image of Finley and Kasstin getting together as more than friends.
What is wrong with me?? Why am I already headed to a future that might never even come? Why am I even feeling this way?? I sure am truly happy we got Kasstin to join us but why am I suddenly feeling strange about this?
“Scarlet?? Scarlet??” a man’s voice echoes at the back of my head.
“Yoo hoo!” called out by a girl.
“Scarlet, are you alright??” Oh, it’s just Finley. My head was pretty much preoccupied back there for a while I’m literally zoned out.
“Oh yeah, yeah, I’m alright. I’m sorry; I was just in deep thought that I wasn’t present in the moment.” I told them.
“Just tell me if something’s wrong, we’ll help you figure it out if you like.” Finley genuinely said with concern.
“No, I’m fine, really. Just don’t mind me and we’ll just keep walking.”
“You know you two looks good together. You’re like love birds waiting to be noticed by one another.” Kasstin implied.
“Ahh really? I mean you two must be more perfect with each other, I mean just look at how much you two are hugging each other’s spaces.” I mumbled to myself but I think mumbled clear enough for Kasstin to grasp what I am trying to say.
“Oh, you’re green-eyed blue eyes! Someone’s green-eyed with jealousy!” Kasstin started teasing as we walk.
“Stop, of course, I’m not!” I protested whilst my cheeks blushes a deep red. I sneak a peek at Finley to see what his reaction is and he’s adorably smiling while looking at me and I just can’t! I looked away just as fast and started to walk ahead from them to avoid more of the teasing.
Of course, I’m not jealous! I mean who am I to get jealous over a silly thing? Nothing’s even going on between me and Finley, why would I be jealous?
Just…let’s all just forget about this, okay? Oh, thank goodness we arrived already! I can see our dwelling across and so I rushed towards it.
As I got there first, I entered immediately and just waited for them to catch up.
I waited by the door so I could welcome Kasstin myself. I heard their footsteps and prepared to face her by the door when suddenly, as I faced the entrance by the doorway, comes Finley entering at the same time and so we bumped with each other’s faces close to each other at a very, very short distance.
Oh dear gods of the universe!!! Why must you do this, huh?? Why??

Back in Tynewt, Varan was busy with his weapon store. Demi humans has been lining up on his store to buy or even just rent weapons of different sorts. Varan was glad since his sales are going up but was skeptic of what was happening. The people here don’t usually flock at his store to buy his stuff. It seems like people are panic buying them recently.
One night, he decided to ask one of his customers of their purpose in buying his weaponry.
“Hey lad, what are you planning to do with this? You in a battle or something?” Varan asked a fox like demi human in front of his counter.
“Haven’t you heard about Aeredale? You know, the town just right next to us?” the demi human asked in reply. Aeredale was the town where most elves were residing. The elves there are known to be kind enchanted creatures that are good with their healing techniques or something.
“No, why? What’s happening there? Are there rebels starting a war or something?” Varan asked clueless.
“Not exactly but it’s sort of like that, I think. No one knows yet. Alright, I have to go now, thanks for this Varan!” the demi human said before heading to the door to leave.
