CHAPTER THREE: HUNTERS

Eris is lying on the bed at the hospital, and she regains consciousness.

ERIS: "WHERE AM I?"

she asked the man standing on the side of her bed. then she looked carefully at the man and she realized that it was the Police Officer.

Police Chief: " Good morning Ms.Eris,

I am the Police Chief, is it okay for you if I can get your statement about the incident? "

When the Police Chief asked her, she remembered what happened to her family.

she covers her lips. she is shocked when she remembers everything. her tears rained down her face.

trying to speak but she can't stop, all she can do is cry out loud.

Eris " huhuhu mm-m-my family, th-their gg-gone!" she wailed.

Police Chief:" it's alright, I know your torment. I understand that it is hard for you right now to answer questions about what happened. I'll ask you later when you're ready." He said and calming Eris.

The Chiefs went outside the hospital, to give Eris some time to let her pain out. to make her feel better. because

He doesn't know how he can comfort Eris.

the chief police decided to leave the hospital and ride in his car, he was going to the headquarters of the Hunters at 333rd Street.

HUNTERS...

hunters are a five-member group that is famous in Freedom City. they only chase the villains in the city. which is why they have an alliance with the authorities.

just like predators, the hunter's ability to always be on alert, wait for their prey, and patiently stalk them until they catch what they need. the hunters also have special abilities that they learn from the master.

Every unnatural death happens in town that the Police can not resolve, they will leave it to the Hunters. they'll let the Hunters resolve the case.

The Hunters:

Heli- heli's father (Philip) created the group. he created the Hunters group to protect the city from the immortal villains, and his father was a master of all kinds of weapons, and he also creates potions that can give a normal person temporary power. but not everyone can handle it. only strong spiritual energy can handle it.

Heli specializes in guns, with the potion made by his father, he can transform his g*n into any kind of g*n and intensify it.

Kinn- is a silent one. he just listens to whatever the group is planning, he never gives his opinion, and he is always busy petting his cat(tofu). he specializes in bow and arrow (an archer). with Philips's potion, he can upgrade his weapon into a giant bow.

Gaia- specializes in hypnotism in humans and animals, and with Philip's potion, she has been mastering the electro ability because it takes a lot of life energy to fully control electricity.

Thomas- is the twin brother of Theia.

he is born with the ability to summon metals. he's like a human magnet. he is also good with the polearm. and with Philip's potion, he can copy other people's appearances.

Theia- the twin sister of Thomas.

her overprotective twin brother is always keeping her by his side, even though she can fight and defend herself from the enemies. she is also born with ability, she's blessed with the power of nature

she can summon light, dark, rain, and wind. and with Philip's potions, she enhanced her power not just to summon nature but to also make her weapons out of it.

GOING BACK TO THE SCENE...

Chief police arrived at the hunter's quarters. he saw Heli trains shooting targets with a blindfold on his eyes.

Chief comes closer to Heli and said:

"Uhm Heli? can I talk to you for a second?

Heli takes off the blindfold and replied: "what is it Chief? Is there something going wrong in our town? " heli asked the chief acting clueless.

Chief: " yeah, there are many terrible happenings in our town, and we can't figure out why and who's the suspects in the previous incidents in our town."

Although Heli knows what's already happening in town, he keeps asking the Chief about the murders. then Heli said: "Okay Chief, we will see what we can do with this case, my team will examine the crime scene and go investigate."

The Chief feels reassurance to The Hunters.

Chief: "thanks to you and the hunters,

We will be able to solve these unresolved cases and give justice to the victims."

"I better be going to help the victims. Bye," the Chief goes back to the Hospital.

The Chief arrived at the hospital and went straight to Eris. He saw Eris staring at the window and looks already calm.

He approaches Eris.

Chief: "Good morning Eris, are you feeling okay now? I heard that you already give your statement to my colleague so I won't have to ask you again."

Eris is still staring outside and just nods to the Chief.

Chief: " the doctor said You can go home now. I can give you a ride if you want?"

Eris looked at the Chief, her tears started to fall and she said:" I can't go home. I can't back to where my family died! "

She covers her face and burst into tears.

The Chief understands the situation, Eris With. So he thinks of another way.

Chief: "I'm Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you. I guess I will let you stay at your friend's place, ill drive you there."

The chief said and bring Eris to her best friend's house...

MEANWHILE AT THE HUNTERS QUARTERS...

When the Chief is gone Heli arranges a meeting with his team (The Hunters )and his father. They already know that the Authorities will be asked for their help. (the go signal they have been waiting for) That's why they are preparing how to catch the real culprits of the killings in the town.

Heli: " The Police Chief asks for our help like we're expecting. So let us start our plan..."
